Results Soon - Keeping it Real Survey on Veterans Support

This survey was based around the following scenario: 

Imagine it is 2010. There is a single disability claims process for active duty military and veterans. It is administered by the Dept of Veterans Affairs. Most claims (90%) are decided within 90-100 days. These and other claims can be filed electronically and their status can readily be tracked by the claimant on-line.

 

Results Soon - Keeping It Real Survey on Immigration Reform

This was the first survey of our Keeping It Real research, which is focused on our government's ability to provide the complex information systems and processes needed to support critical national needs. This research will draw a line in the sand to help us all judge legislative and campaign promises for realism and feasibility. 

This survey was based on the following scenario: 

Imagine it is 2010. The new Administration and Congress have been in power for over a year. A nationwide Electronic Employee Verification System is in place. The system helps employers follow the law by verifying workers' visa/citizenship status.  Participants were asked how long would it take to build such a system?  What's in place already to help it along?

See our survey results and survey comments. Over 100 government and industry thought leaders responded to this survey which addressed how the U.S. government could better acquire goods, services, and solutions worth $400 billion annually.
